ANTICIPATE. INFORM. DEFEND.

ANTICIPATE - the vigilent eyes and ears in matters that effect the rights of hunters, anglers and gun owners in New Jersey.

INFORM - keeping you informed of actions taken by persons or organizations that oppose our rights and priveleges and try to make it as easy as possible for you to react quickly and effectively.

DEFEND - defending these rights and priveleges from those who seek to take them from us.

Frustrated by the lack of response from hunters, anglers and gun owners we decided that if we weren't part of the solution we were part of the problem.

To that end, we sat down and talked for hours about why it seemed the antis (anti-hunting, anti-fishing, anti-gun) were so organized and we (the hunters, anglers and gun owners) were not and what could be done to correct it.

We talked about how to get organized and how to get the word out and what we decided was this:

• Make the information accessible.
• Make it available as soon as possible.
• Make it easy for people to respond.

Having information is the first step towards effectively combating the groups and individuals that are trying to limit our freedoms. But finding that information can sometimes be a problem. Like us, many of you may get your information from the NRA or the US Sportsman's Alliance. Both are excellent groups and have tons of information. But because of all that information sometimes things fall thru the cracks. So we've decided that we would focus on only those issues that pertain to New Jersey. Now you have one place to check when you want the dope on legislation, meetings, etc., in NJ and you won't have to wade thru countless other articles and alerts to get to it.

We are more than just a website, though. When there's an alert we contact our ever growing list of outlets and let them know. Sporting goods stores, gunsmiths, hunting groups, shooting ranges, fishing groups, lodges... anyone who is sympathetic to the cause. In turn, they spread the word to their customers and members. This is in addition to our own mailing list.

Additionally, we are constantly and to the best of our ability, monitoring the web, speaking with individuals and other groups and watching the news for any issues so that we can get that information out to you as soon as possible.

And finally, we are doing everything we can to allow you, the busy and overworked, to react as quickly and easliy as possible. Our website will, whenever possible, link to an online petition or a legislators home page so that you can voice your opinion right online. We even post our own letters to said legislators so that you can copy and edit them to suit your personality and opinions. Anything to make it easier.

Not only that, but we also send all this information to our outlets. If they have an email address we send them email and let them print or disseminate the information in whatever method they think is most effective. Those that don't have email we send the paperwork thru the mail complete with all the information about the issue, sample letters, petitions... whatever is appropriate.

There are a lot of groups out there and even more individuals and all we want to do is make it easier for them to get the information they need and respond to it.

We have no political aspriations, we do not make any money from this and we are genuine in our desire to do our part in protecting our way of life from those who seek to diminish it.
